Materials Technology – Wood

Students are afforded the opportunity to work with a variety of woods in Materials Technology – Wood, a subject area which also teaches critical analysis, conceptualisation and the execution of pre-planned work.
Students also learn how to use and care for necessary tools and equipment.
Theory and practice form the essential elements of the curriculum and there is a great emphasis on project work.
Projects of a very high standard are produced by the end of the examination years, of which students are extremely proud.
