Tommy Markham Cup Visits Moyne College

Moyne College was treated to a very special guest last week when the Tommy Markham Cup was brought in by the All-Ireland Minor Football Team Manager Enda Gilvarry. Students of Moyne College got to chat the All-Ireland Winning manager about the jubilant scenes witnessed last September in Croke Park when the Mayo Minor Football Team won the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship Title. Moyne College students also got a chance to have their picture taken with the Cup. This was all part of the recently held Science & Technology Day where all the local National Schools came to Moyne College to experience all that Science & Technology has to offer. The 6th Class National School pupils also got the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the Tommy Markham Cup. This was a fantastic experience for all the students involved.
