Junior Cycle
The new junior cycle will place the student at the centre of the learning process. It allows for new ways of learning and a broader range of skills to be properly assessed. Students study a range of subjects and short courses, they complete classroom based assessments (CBAs) in year two and year three. At the end of the Junior Cycle students will be awarded a Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA).
