I heard about the FETAC Level 5 Nursing Studies/Community Care Post Leaving Certificate Course through a friend.
My desire was to pursue a career in the Care Sector.

I enjoyed every moment during the Course in Moyne College.  The tutors were excellent which made everything much easier and we had great fun.

I was offered a place in Dublin City University this year to do General Nursing but I have deferred my place until next year.

My advice to anyone would be to go ahead and do the Course because I believe it is worthwhile.  It is one of the Courses and Awards that is well recognised and it can help you to the next stage in any career in the future.

I heard about the Nursing Course through a friend.  My goal going into the Course was to find out for myself is I really wanted to do Nursing and to gain experience in this field.

I thoroughly enjoyed studying the Course at Moyne College and feel that it was a very positive experience.  I loved the Modules and found the Tutors very approachable and helpful.

I’ve been accepted at GMIT, Castlebar to do General Nursing which I have deferred until next year due to personal circumstances.

This Course has given me experience and knowledge to enable me to become a confident Nurse. My advice to anyone thinking of pursuing a PLC Course is to just GO FOR IT because you’ll never regret it.  It is the STEPPING STONE to your desired career.

NAME: RÓISIN HULL
AGE: 40
COURSE ATTENDED: FETAC Level 5 PLC Course in CHILDCARE with SPECIAL NEEDS
YEAR OF COURSE: 2011/2012

I heard about the Childcare PLC Course through a friend.  Having re-located to Ireland from the UK, I wanted a whole change in my career path and I had a particular interest and love for children.
I looked into a Home Study Course but when I heard that a Course was being run in my local area, I decided that this would be more beneficial as I could meet and get help from Tutors on a daily basis.  I think that it is a fantastic facility to have these Courses on our doorstep and the Tutors in Moyne College offered excellent advice, help and support to me during the year.

I completed a four week Work Placement in the local Mulberry Tree Creche and was offered employment as a result of this.  I now work mornings in the Toddlers Group in the Mulberry Tree Creche and I thoroughly love and enjoy every day there.

My advice is to GO AHEAD, be HEADSTRONG and pursue YOUR DREAMS and GOALS!
You will receive all the help you need in MOYNE COLLEGE.
